Mr. Randy L. Nelson age 59 of Ellijay died Thursday May 26, 2016.

Mr. Nelson was born December 3, 1956 in Gilmer County, the son of the late Bill and Maggie Dockery Nelson. He worked for the City of Ellijay.

Survivors include; sons and daughters-in-law; Randy and Mary Nelson, Fairmount, Mickey and Vickey Nelson, Ellijay, 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Miah and Luke Nelson, brothers, James and Larry Nelson both of Ellijay.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Holt and Rev. Jamie Kerr officiating. Interment will be in the Ellijay City Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 3 until 9pm at the funeral home.
