Dora Mae Sanford, age 83 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Friday, July 15, 2016, a member of Jesus Full Gospel Church, she was born in Ellijay, GA to her late parents Lester Donnie and Mamie Bramlett Rogers. Mrs. Sanford was a retiree of Robert Shaw Controls after over 20 years of employment. She is preceded in death by husband James W. Sanford, son Wade Sampson and brothers Claude and Carl Rogers. Survivors include Daughter and Son-in-law Eva Mae & Terry Reece of Ellijay, Barbara Green and Roger Picklesimer of McCaysville, GA.; grandchildren Rev. Anthony and Jessica Sanford of Jasper, GA., Pricilla Green of McCayesville, GA., Kimberly Green of McCaysville; 12 Great-grandchildren; sister Ruth Rogers Starks of Ellijay; brother Rev. Bobby and Sherry Rogers of Calhoun, GA, .

Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday July 17th, 2016 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Sanford, Rev. Joey Phillips, Rev. Shane Duggan and Rev. Bobby Rogers officiating. Committal service will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
