Miss Krista Lauren Hyde, age 21, of Talking Rock, died Sunday, September 4, 2016.

Krista was born June 5, 1995 in Pickens County and was currently a senior at Gilmer High School.

Survivors include: Parents Rev. Tim and Lisa Ballew Hyde of Talking Rock, sister and brother-in-law: Emily and William Coker, Ellijay, grandparents, Deryl and Evelean Hyde, Ellijay, Clyde and Mildred Ballew, Jasper, 2 nephews, Nate and Kash Coker, niece, Lilly Coker, and uncle, Matthew Hyde.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Mafford MacArthur, Rev. Roger Burgess and Rev. William Coker officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 6 until 10pm and Tuesday from 10am until 10pm, Wednesday from 8 am until the funeral hour at the funeral.
