Mrs. Lorene Mulkey McArthur age 72 of Talking Rock died Wednesday September 7, 2016.

Mrs. McArthur was born July 30, 1944 in Gilmer County the daughter of the Late Dailey and Elma Parker Mulkey. She worked for ERB Industries and was a member of the Whitestone Baptist Church.

Survivors include: husband Kenneth McArthur, daughters and sons-in-law; Beverly and Danny Townsend, Renea and Mark Rittenberry, all of Talking Rock, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. sisters; Lela Holcomb, Jasper, Bonnie Pierce, Ballground, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00pm from the Whitestone Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Gay and Rev. Jamie Kerr officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will meet with Thursday from 4pm until 10pm, all day Friday and Saturday from 8 until the funeral hour.
