Ms. Margo Diane Vickery Bertch, age 77 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Tuesday evening, September 27, 2016, at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.

Ms. Bertch was born July 1, 1939 in Oakland, California to her late parents Edgar Herbert and Alice Bell Vickery. Margo received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkley. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Narcissus Chapter Number 269 in Omaha, NE, queen of the Daughters of Job, the Cornhusker Corvette Club, and served as the secretary of the Retired Teamsters. Margo worked as a teacher, secretary, and also as a cashier at Walgreens. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Bertch.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Alice and Rodney Hinrich of Geneva, NE, Peggie Emmack of Omaha, NE and Charlotte Bertch of Omamha, NE; Sons and daughter-in-law, Rob Parks of Ellijay, GA, Carl Bertch of Omaha, NE and Mark and Dannie Bertch of Omaha, NE; 16 Grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, September 30th, 2016 at Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allan Tarr officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to until the service hour on Friday, September 30, 2016, at Logan Funeral Home.
