Mr. Carl Randall “Randy” Pittman age 49, of the Tails Creek community, Ellijay, Georgia passed on Wednesday evening, October 12, 2016.

Randy was born November 23, 1966 in Ellijay, Georgia to his late parents James Burley and Jeannie Marlow Pittman. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a machine operator for Mohawk Industries.

Survivors include his son and companion, Steven Pittman and Cecily Carroll of Ellijay, GA; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Katie and Rev. Mitchell Pack of Ellijay, GA and Tammy and Chris Corbin of Chatsworth, GA; Brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Diane Pittman and Johnny and Johnie Pittman, all of Ellijay, GA; Grandchild, Lucas James Pittman; Nieces, Jessica Hopper, Ashley Queen, Kayla Easley, Cora Pittman, Bree Reece and Kaitland Reece; Nephews, Dustin Pack, James Corbin, Noah Corbin, Austin Reece, Andrew Corbin, Tyler Pittman, Hunter Reece, Calvin Reece, Zander Pittman, and Billy Jack Reece.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 16th, 2016 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Pack officiating. Music will be by Pam Reece. Graveside interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemeterywith Thomas Reece, Austin Reece, John Carroll, Johnny Pittman, James Pittman, James DeFoor, Dustin Pack, James Corbin and Michael Marlow serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at the Logan Funeral Home.
