Mrs. Mary H. Weaver, age 79, of Ellijay, died October 30, 2016.

Mrs. Weaver was born November 12, 1936, in Webster Springs, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Harley and Avis McCray Lowther. She worked as a Lunchroom Lady and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Richard, Henry and Lynn Lowther

Survivors include: husband, Leon Weaver, sons and daughters-in-law; James and Kimberly Weaver, Bill and Lisa Weaver all of Ellijay, daughter and son-in-law; Connie and Tommy Smith, Ellijay, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law; Obrey and Phillip Lowther, both of Ohio, Ralph and Diane Lowther, KY , sisters and brother-in-law; Betty Capps, Maryland, Margie and Rex Gillespie, PA, Almonta Markwood, Ohio, Jane Buck, Ellijay, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 1, 2016 at 3:00pm from the Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Burt, Rev. Wallace Parks and Rev. Calvin Grogan. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
