Mr. James Henry “Jim” Hightower age 74 of Lula, Ga died Monday November 14, 2016.

Mr. Hightower was born February 13,1942, in Cherokee County the son of the late Willie D. and Sue Meger Hightower. He worked in the construction industry. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Chuck Hightower, Delores Chavez and Zara Howell.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law: Gene and Leslie Hightower, Ellijay, brothers: Bill Hightower, Gainesville, Richard Hightower, Cornelia, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services are being planned and will be announced later.
