Mr. Terry C. Smith, age 67, of Ellijay, died Sunday, December 11, 2016.

Mr. Smith was born September 13, 1949 in Whitfield County the son of the late Clay and Vergie Padgett Smith. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1967, retired from the Beaulieu Company, where he worked as a Quality Manager, was a member of the Oak Bowery Lodge #81 F&AM and attended Oak Hill Independent Church. His parents and sister Sandra Smith Perry preceded him in death.

Survivors include: wife Jeanette Nealey Smith, sons and daughters-in-laws; Frank and Elizabeth Smith, Cumming, Scott and Mona Smith, Newton, Ga, grandsons, Cole and Austin Smith, brother and sister-in-law: Edward and Janith Dotson, Ellijay, 1 niece and 2 nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December, 13, 2016 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Stover and Pastor Edward Ledford officiating.

Interment will be in the Oak Hill United Methodist church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 4 until 8pm at the funeral home. The family also request No Food be brought to the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org.,  in memory of Mr. Smith.
