Bobcats and Dragons Break Even

The Gilmer High School Boy’s and Girl’s Golf teams battled the Dragons head to head on March 9th at home.

The Boy’s Golf was won by the Dragons with a three-stroke lead, 184-181. Dylan Long from the Dragons scored the lowest of the match, coming in at 39, while Josh Dobbs from the Bobcats had the lowest score, 41, from his team.

The Girl’s Golf, on the other hand, was won by our Ladycats, 134-121. Hannah Watkins had the lowest score, 38, for the Ladycats. The Ladycats are off to a great start this season by defeating the Dragons.

Both of Gilmer’s teams will play again on March 16 at Pickens County.
