Mr. Alfred L. Werner, age 86, a resident of Cameron Hall, Ellijay, died Sunday March 26, 2017.

Mr. Werner was born March 23, 1931 in Detroit, MI the son of the late Alfred J. and Ella Lein Werner. He worked as a Quality Engineer for the U.S. Government, a veteran serving with the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his wife; Lorraine Hillger Werner.

Survivors include; son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Christy Werner, Waterford, MI, daughters and son-in-law Lynn and William Eldon, Ellijay, Karen Craft, Sterling Heights, MI. 4 grandchildren, Corey and Christopher Eldon, Terry and Jamie Werner, brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Carrol Werner, Flowery Branch, several nieces and nephews and beloved friends and family.

A memorial services is being planned and will be announced later.
