Happy Tuesday from BKP and Karla! Here in Gilmer County we are getting super excited for the Georgia Apple Blossom Festival that is coming up next weekend. The festival is free to attend and is pet friendly. It is on May 6th from 9 AM until 5 PM and May 7th from 9 AM until 4 PM. There will be handmade arts and crafts, a local business expo, and of course yummy festival snack foods you do not want to miss. In addition to the festival there are several other activities you can enjoy with your family and friends. Saturday morning there is a 5 K race “Run for the Son” that will benefit the Gilmer CLC program and the Ellijay Farmers Market will be opening downtown. In the evening you could enjoy a couple different musical events ranging  from bluegrass to jazz.
