Mr. James Lowery Cantrell, age 62 of Ellijay died Monday May 29, 2017.

Mr. Cantrell was born November 8,1954, in Whitfield County, and was a graduate of Gilmer High School Class of 1972 and Pickens Tech. He was a farmer and member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons; Keith, Brook, Matthew and Bobby Cantrell all of Ellijay, Carlos Mendoza, North Dakota, mother, Oletta (JT) Withrow, Ellijay, sister; Pamela Joyce (Jimmy) Clay, Lavonia. 5 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday June 2, 2017 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Davis –Cantrell cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 3 until 9pm at the funeral home.
