Mr. Clayton C. Taylor age 88 of Ellijay died Thursday July 6, 2017.

Mr. Taylor was born June 8, 1929 in Cherokee County NC the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bige Taylor. He was retired from the timber industry and was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by sons; Willis and Wendell Taylor.

Survivors include: wife: Gentilee Taylor. sons: Carl and Claude Taylor all of Ellijay special sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Birdie and Russell Hart, Murphy.NC. several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Richards officiating..Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 12noon until 9pm at the funeral home.
