Mrs. Evelyn June Tipton Long, age 79 of Ellijay, GA, died Thursday, June 20, 2017.

Mrs. Long was born in Gilmer County, to the late Floyd and Tinnia Walker Tipton, and is preceded in death by Ermel Tipton and Everett “Cotton” Tipton.

She is Survived by her Sons; Kenneth Long, Ronnie Long and Eddy Long all of Ellijay, Daughters; Teresa Ellis of Ellijay and Darlene Snider of Chatsworth, Brothers; Pete Tipton and Lamar Tipton, Sister; Esther Garland all of Ellijay. Several Grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 23,2017 at 3:00pm from the Bernhardt Funeral Home Chapel with Min. Jerry Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 22,2017 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home.
