Mr. James Eldon Shook age 74 of Ellijay, GA died Wednesday August 9, 2017.

Mr. Shook was born April 22, 1943 in Jackson, NC to the late Daniel Boone and Julie M. Brown Shook. He worked for Gold-Kist as a truck driver and was a member of the Browns Chapel in Dahlonega, GA. He is preceded in death by his wife, Adene Beck Shook; sister, Erma Lee Shook and parents.

Survivors Include: daughters and sons in-law, Tina and Alberto Perez, of Ellijay, GA and Julia Ann and Mark Martin, of Ellijay, GA; son and daughter in-law, Junior and Karin Shook, of Ellijay, GA; sisters and brothers in-law, Hazel and Harold Dilbeck, of Ellijay, GA, Alma Jean and Wilford Hensley, of Ellijay, GA, Velma Stanley, of Ellijay, GA, Geneva Rush, of Ellijay, GA and Hellen Galloway, of Castle Rock, Washington; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, Kaleb Shook and Dalton Mooney.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 12^th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Evans, Rev. Eddie Kerr and Rev. Junior Maney officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday August 11^th from 3pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
