Bobbie Glynn Griffin, age 74, passed away on September 7, 2017 peacefully in his sleep. He was born October 23, 1942 in Waycross, Georgia and retired with his wife of 33 years, Linda Woody Griffin, to Ellijay, Georgia. He was US Veteran during the Vietnam War and worked for over 25 years at the Smurfit Stone/Container Corporation paper mill in Fernandina Beach, FL where he retired in 2005.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Lucille Crosby Griffin and father, Aaron William Griffin; three brothers, Donald Griffin, Lannis Griffin and Ronald Griffin; one brother-in-law, Cecil Blaylock; three sister-in-laws, Peggy Griffin, Shirley Griffin and Rose Griffin.

He is survived by  wife: Linda Griffin, two sisters:  Beatrice Blalock of Monteagle, TN, Janice Evans (Larry) of Argyle; and five brothers:  Clinton Griffin of Waycross, Kenneth Griffin (Marie) of Jacksonville, FL, Morris Griffin of Homerville, Jerry Griffin (Susie), and Larry Griffin of Patterson; three daughters, Stephanie Scott (Lee), Sabrina Garrett, Brooklyn Griffin of Ellijay; two sons, Shaun Griffin (Naomi) of Jacksonville, FL and John Griffin of TX; five granddaughters, Victoria Garrett, Allison Scott, Araleigh Scott of Ellijay, Lucy and Penelope Griffin of Jacksonville, FL; mother-in-law: Catherine Cook, FL, sisters-in-law; Debbie Hutto, FL and Marie Woody, SC many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 9^th at 5pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral home.

The family will receive friends Saturday September 9^th from 4pm until the service hour at 5pm with fellowship to follow until 7pm.
