Minister Miles Hendricks Peeples, age76, of Ellijay died Sunday September 24, 2017.

Minister Peeples was born July 24, 1941 in Fulton County the son of the late Horace Eugene and Sarah Pauline Garner Peeples. He was a school teacher, a Georgia Bulldog fan, and a minister in the Church of Christ for over 50 years. His parents, brother, Keith Peeples and nephews Ryan and Troy Peeples preceded him in death.

Survivors include: children and spouses; David and Monique Peeples, Mark and Holly Peeples, Rachel Peeples, DVM all of Savannah, Diane and Mark Wilson, Ellijay and brother, Neal Peeples, Fayetteville, GA,  8 grandchildren, Kyle Peeples, Megan, Hailey, and Jaxon Wilson, Hannah Peeples, Brayden Peeples, Jack Peeples and Kate Peeples.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2pm from the Ellijay Church of Christ with Minister Butch Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Church of Christ cemetery. Flowers are accepted, are donations may be made to the Georgia School of Preaching in care of the Ellijay Church of Christ 351 N. Main St Ellijay, Ga 30540.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
