Mr. Richard “Ric” Edmund DeVries, age 53 of Ellijay, GA passed on Saturday evening, November 18th, 2017.

Mr. DeVries was born July 30th, 1964 in Summerville, SC to his late parents, Richard Edwin DeVries and Lucille Boisclair Lacaze. He was a graduate of Ramona High School in Riverside, CA. Richard was also worked as a Customer Service Representative at the Home Depot.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rebecca Lynn (Kosarski) DeVries of Ellijay, GA, sons & daughters-in-law, Richard J. & Jasse DeVries of Ellijay, GA, Austin & Sarah DeVries of Madison, FL and Jesse DeVries of Ellijay, GA, sisters, Rachel Romero of Pineville, LA and Louise Andrews of Pharump, NV, brother, Joey Lacaze of Bryan, TX grandson, Roy DeVries; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hermon & Linda Kosarski of Ellijay, GA.

A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
