Mr. Estle W. Clayton age 76 of Ellijay died Friday December 1, 2017.

Mr. Clayton was born March 27, 1941 in Gilmer County the son of the late Willie Clayton and Pearl Mooney Oxford. He was retired from Lochkeed Corp. was a member of the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and camping. His parents and brother Raymond Clayton preceded him in death.

Survivors include: wife Janice Clayton, son and daughter-in-law: Rev. Chris and Lisa Chastain, Ellijay, daughters and sons-in-law: Sherrie and Greg Wiggins, Loganville, Stacie and Thomas Sweatman, Dahlonega, Regina and Carl Hill, Ellijay, Vickie and Steve McDonald, Little Rock AK, Jami Dupree, Ellijay. 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brother: Roy Clayton, Talking Rock, sister; Joyce Lord, Ellijay.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Elder Kelly Smith, Elder Bill Campbell and Elder Paul Mooney officiating. Interment will be in the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 12noon until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
