Mr. Billy Roebuck age 75 of Ellijay, GA died Thursday September 20, 2018.
Mr. Roebuck was born July 31, 1943 in Birmingham, AL to the late Raleigh Roebuck and Maudeen Jones. He was a self-employed in the recycled oil business and a member of the VFW. Mr. Roebuck was veteran serving with the U.S. Marine Corp. He is preceded in death by his father, Ormond Raleigh Roebuck, step-mother, Flossie Thomas Roebuck, grandfather, Walker Raleigh Roebuck, grandmother, Annie Thomas Roebuck, grandson, Adam E. Godwin and great granddaughter, Haili Christine Puckett.
Survivors Include: wife, Norma Chapman King-Roebuck, of Ellijay; daughter, Deborah Sue Campbell, of Ellijay; son, Ronald Wayne Roebuck, of Ellijay; step daughters, Helen Marie Box, of Acworth, Lisa Michelle King, of Adairsville and Patricia Lynn King-Sanders, of Cartersville; step son, Timothy Bruce King, of Cartersville; brothers, Ormond Richard Roebuck, of Jacksonville, FL and Bobby Roebuck, of Ellijay; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday September 29th at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Kelly and Rev. Roy Scott officiating. Military rites by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Inurnment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.
The family will receive Saturday September 29th from 1pm until the service hour at 3pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Roebuck.
