Mr. Shelton was born February 17, 1944 in Knoxville, TN to the late Conely Farris and Bessie Hurst Shelton. He retired from Shaw Industries as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents; Conley and Elizabeth Shelton; brother, Ronnie Shelton.
Survivors Include: wife, Connie Clark Shelton; children, Kim Brackett, Matthew Teems and Michael Shelton; brother, Buddy Shelton; sisters, Judy Davis and Anne Ridge; grandchildren, Kristian Sisson, Ian Shelton, Caleb Shelton, Kelly Brackett, Gracie Teems, Alexia Teems and Koby Teems; great grandchild, Junie Faye.
Private services are being planned by the family.
