Lexie Della Weaver

Mrs. Lexie Della Weaver, age 98, of Ellijay, died Sunday, February 3, 2019.

Mrs. Weaver was born, October 3, 1920 in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Otis Garfield and Ellie Mae Ellis Weaver. She worked in the textile industry, working at J&C, and was a member of the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church.

Her parents; husband Elder Crate Weaver, son; Herbert Weaver, daughters, Joan Weaver and Cathy Hyatt and son-in-law; Danny Rutledge preceded her in death.

Survivors include: son; Hugh and Hollis Weaver both of Ellijay, daughters and son-in-law; Joyce and Tom Williams, Dalton, Judy and David Wright, Ellijay, Doris Rutledge, Dalton, Dorothy Weaver, Ellijay, son-in- law; Doug Hyatt, and daughter-in-law: Wanda Weaver, sister and brother-in-law: Velma and Harvey Mooney, Suwanee 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00pm from the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Kelly Smith and Elder David Smith officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 3:00pm until9:00pm at the funeral home.
