Mrs. Margaret D. Roylance, age 75, of Ellijay, died Monday, January 28, 2019.
Mrs. Roylance was born, October 12, 1943, in Miami, FL, the daughter of the late Clarence Dunlap and Elsie Cardozo Dunlap. She grew up in church and had led a life of service to everyone around her. She was an educator for many years, working in Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia. Margaret enjoyed serving others through singing in the choir at church, serving on many church committees and was active in delivering meals to senior citizens in need. Her intense study of the Bible enable her to reach out and serve those who were seeking God. Everything in her life revolved around her faith, family and friends. She is a current member of the Ellijay First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: her husband of 54 years, Terrance Roylance, son; John Thomas Roylance, Fisher, IN, daughter: Susan R. Tolbert, Taylorsville, sisters; Mary Keene, Coco, FL, Georgia Sisk, Hendersonville, TN, brother: Edward Dunlap, Raymer, TN, 2 grandchildren; Logan and Katherine Tolbert.
Memorial services will be held Friday February 1, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Ellijay First United Church with Dr. Thom Shores and Rev. Allan Tarr officiating.
The family will meet with friends following the service.
