Luke Wimpey is the TeamFYNSports Player of the Week for the Bobcats!

Wimpey, a guard, was a steady factor for Gilmer (5-5, 2-3 Region 6-4A) during three tough losses this past week.

On Tuesday, Dec. 17, Wimpey scored eight points in a three-points loss to rival Pickens, 59-56, in Ellijay.

Against LaFayette on Friday, Dec. 20, Wimpey scored 11 points, including three made 3-pointers, as the Bobcats fell 70-56 in Ellijay.

In Blairsville on Saturady, Dec. 21, Wimpey hit a pair of shots from beyond-the-arc to account for six points as Gilmer lost 73-43.
