Obituary: In Memory of Lisa McGhee

Lisa Ann (Reece) McGhee, age 60 of Ellijay, GA passed on Thursday, November 12, 2020. Lisa was born August 1, 1960 to her parents Hayward Jackson and Ellen Gladys (Weaver) Reece in Ellijay, GA. She was a member of the Orchard Church. Lisa graduated from Gilmer High School in 1978 and was graduate of Kennesaw State University. Lisa was a licensed Real Estate Appraiser in Gilmer County. She enjoyed hiking and the outdoors. She is preceded in death by her father Hayward Jackson Reece. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Logan Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Steve Dusek officiating and David Westmorland reading the Eulogy. Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Music by Henry Hadden and Vocalist Trish Kirkland. Graveside Interment will follow at the Ellijay City Cemetery with David Westmoreland, Larry Farist, James Wishon, Al Hadden, Heath Thompson, Ernie Stover serving as pallbearers and with Nathan Smith, Hunter Smith, Zachary Walls, Austin Walls, Ty Reece, Curtis Davis and Noah Reece serving as honorary pallbearers. She is survived by her daughter Rachael Ann Malone, Ellijay, GA, mother Mrs. Ellen (Weaver) Reece, Ellijay, GA, sisters Janice L and Lynn Hale, Ellijay, GA, Sheila Sue Walls, Carrollton, GA, brother Kevin and Paige Reece, Ellijay, GA, grandsons Dreyton John Malone, Mason Wayne Malone, nieces and nephews Nathan Smith, Kristin Smith, Zachary Austin Walls, Ty Reece, Noah Reece, great nieces and nephews, Hunter Smith, Molly Smith, Riley Smith, Jackson Smith and best friend Rae Ann Hadden. Flowers are being accepted or donations can be made to the Boys & Girls Club at PO Box 649 Jasper, GA 30143 in memory of Lisa.
