The Ellijay-Gilmer County Water and Sewage Authority has issued a boil water advisory for parts of Coosawattee River Resort. Last evening, there was a severe wash out of the roadway on Newport Drive near the Fife Bridge. The wash out caused damage to an 8” water main causing water outages in the area. Please see the attached PDF for more information. We will advise once the advisory has been lifted.
