I had the privilege of serving as Character Development Officer in the Air Force Civil Air Patrol. During the Obama administration, my squadron commander advised me of a Department of Defense order that prohibited military chaplains from praying in the name of Jesus. Before I could respond, he ordered me to ignore the order, and if we lost our commissions, so be it.
