Meet Pappy, a sweet 9 year old youngster who makes friends instantly wherever he goes.  He does well with other dogs and is okay with cats and kids!  He’s just one of those dogs you can take anywhere and is sure to bring  companionship to the family who is lucky enough to adopt him.  He enjoys car rides, sniffing everything on his leash walks, and just being close to his peeps.  He weighs 19#, is fully vetted; including recent dental extractions and is doing well.  All that stuff is in his rearview mirror and he’s ready for a new life to love and be loved.

Homeward Bound Pet Rescue is located in Blue Ridge, Gilmer Co., Georgia. We are a volunteer run organization that was established in 2000 and have successfully found forever homes for thousands of unwanted cats and dogs..  We meet by appointment only.  Our pets are up to date on vaccinations, monthly preventatives, spayed and neutered (unless otherwise disclosed due to illness or age).   All available pet bios on our website.
