Mr. Alvin Roy Black age 50 of Painter Rd. Talking Rock, GA died December 19, 2011.

Mr. Black was born January 14, 1961 in Orlando, FL. He worked in construction. Mr. Black is preceded in death by father, Clifford Black and sister, Jean Sigers.

Survivors: Daughter and Boyfriend: Brandie Black & Chris Byers, Ellijay; Mother: Jewell Black, Ellijay; Brothers: John Black, Canton, GA, Norman, Larry, James, and Wally Black, All of Ellijay, GA; 3 Grandchildren: Levi Garland, Marissa and Amelia Holbert, All of Ellijay.

Funeral Services will be held Friday December 23rd at 3:30 p.m. from the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday December 22nd from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
