Mr. Charles Leo Moore age 83 of Hospital Cir., Ellijay, GA died Tuesday January 17, 2012.

Mr. Moore was born on March 25, 1938 in Gilmer Co to the late Charlie Moore and Virgie Bramlett Moore. He was a 21 year veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by sisters Cleo Farist and Francis Bower.

Survivors include: Wife: Monique Moore, of the home; Daughters and sons-in-law: Susan and Chuck Prater, Ellijay, Nancy and Lynn Chumler, Eagle River, Alaska; Son: Roger Moore, Ellijay; Grandson: Jeremy Adams, Canton; Sister: Verla Moore Daniels, Carrollton, GA; Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday January 19, 2012 at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Edmund Miller officiating. Interment will be held in the Yukon Cemetery. Military honors will be by the United States Army.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 18 from 3pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
