James William Stanley, Jr., age 68 of the Cartecay Community, Ellijay, GA passed from this life on Thursday, April 26th, 2012 at his residence.Survivors include wife of 10 years, Carolyn Clark Stanley of the home in Ellijay, daughters; Tish Stanley of Tucker, GA, Melanie Arnold of Hiram, GA, sons and daughters-in-law; Tim R. Stanley of Marbleton, GA, Ronnie W. and Jeanette Stanley of Marietta, GA, Jody B. and Mindy Stanley of Madisonville, TN, Nathan Adam Stanley of Ellijay, GA, eight grandchildren; Toby, Brittany, Jaylin, Lily, Mattie, Kaleighann Stanley, Dawson and Bryson Arnold, sister; Linda S. Cochran of Blue Ridge, GA, brothers; Clifford Stanley of Blue Ridge, GA, Johnny Stanley of Blue Ridge, GA, several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of life will be at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29th, 2012 from the home of William Stanley, 386 Cartecay River Run, Ellijay, GA. (Casual dress recommended). Officiating will be Rev. Ron Gober and speaker Clifford Stanley.

Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, FL.
