Mr. Donald G. Ritter age 77 of Sleepy Hollow Rd Ellijay died Tuesday April 30, 2013.

Mr. Ritter was born Oct. 19,1935 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of the late Joseph Grant and Irene Elizabeth Ritter. He was a graduate of Ohio State University, Retired Vice President of Flexible Corp. and served in the US Army. His home church was First Baptist Church Ellijay where served on the Missions Committee, also served with the Bread and Bowl Ministry. He was a wonderful Father to 5 children ,Husband and friend to all. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth Edna Kinkel Ritter and son Steve Ritter.

Survivors include: Sons and daughters-in-law: Walt and Pam Ritter, Savannah, Tim and Penny Ritter, Orlando, FL, daughters and son-in-law: Stephanie and Billy Rowe, Ellijay, Cindy Ritter, Raleigh, NC, Grandchildren; Mindi McLean, Brittany Rowe, Spencer Ritter, Casey Coxwell. Great-grandchildren; Sawyer and Will Strohl. Brother: Dean Ritter, Oklahoma City, OK.

Funeral services will be held Friday May 3, 2013 at 3pm from the First Baptist Church Ellijay. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church Ellijay Missions Committee in memory of Mr. Ritter.

The family will meet with friends Thursday from 5 until 7pm at the funeral home.
