Mr. James Henry Cochran, age 69 of the Tails Creek community, Ellijay, Georgia passed on Friday evening, September 4, 2015 at his residence.

He was born September 26, 1945 in Chatsworth, Georgia to his late parents Fonzo and Essie Bea Scott Cochran. Mr. Cochran was a member of Mount Shoemach Baptist Church in Cisco, GA. and was employed as a truck driver with Leon James Feed and Grain. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Cochran, sister Evie Cochran and brother Jimmy Cochran.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki Lou Hawkins of Chatsworth, GA, Molly Bea & Josh Haddock of Ellijay, GA; sons and daughters-in-law Jimmy & Nora Cochran and Tommy & Tina Cochran, all of Chatsworth, GA.; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen Nolan, Nora Bryant, Vivian and James Forest, Betty and Robert Ash, Brenda and Jimmy Bowen, Karen and Jimmy Mulkey, Sharon Banker, Christine Forest all of Chatsworth, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Gail Cochran of Chatsworth, GA also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday September 8th, 2015 from the Mountain View Baptist Church in Chatsworth, Georgia, with Rev. Jimmy Bowen and Rev. Roger Burgess officiating, music and vocals will be by the Ward Family. Graveside interment will follow in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Cochran, Josh Cochran, Albert Kiser, Anthony Hampton, Cody Howard, Jessie Stalls, Markus Bishop and Michael Deal.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, September 6, 2015, and 9:00 AM until 9 PM Monday, September 7th, 2015 from Logan Funeral Home.
