Mrs. Gwendolyn P. Mulkey, age 66, of Talking Rock died Saturday March 5, 2016.

Mrs. Mulkey was born July 18, 1949, in Pickens County the daughter of the late Weldon and Mary Lou Duckett Perry. She worked at Gold-Kist for many years, was a homemaker and member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Pickens County. Her parents, son, Tommy Hightower and sister Minnie Sue Barrett preceded her in death.

Survivors include: sisters; Geraldine Payne, Talking Rock, Marie Cavander, Ellijay, Hazel Burchfield, Chatsworth, brother: Danny Perry, Jasper. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday March 7 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Derazo officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
