Ms. Mary Parks McFarland, age 70, of Ellijay, died Friday, April 13, 2018.

Ms. McFarland was born, February 24, 1948, in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Homer and Bertha Sanford Parks, She worked as a caregiver and attended New Vision Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include; son and daughter-in-law; T.J. and Mallory McFarland, Ellijay, grandchildren Harley and Joseph Baughman, Elizabeth Stover, brother; L.E. Parks, Ellijay and sister; Linda Satterfield, Ellijay, niece, Misty Reece and great niece Lilly Reece.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 5, 2018 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Irene Wofford officiating. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Youth Group at 3881 Mountaintown Rd. Ellijay,30540 in memory of Mrs. McFarland.
