Mr. Hugh Brown Richards age 84 of Ellijay died Saturday Oct. 22,2011.

Mr. Richards was born Nov. 23, 1926 in Gilmer county the son of the late Roy and Della Vick Richards. He was retired from Georgia Marble and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: Wife: Ruth Easley Richards, sons and daughters-in-law: George W. and Lois Richards, Lenn and Debbie Richards all of Ellijay, daughters and sons-in-law: Ellouise and Larry Silvers, Della Mae and Bobby Stanley, Brenda Key Smith, Loretta and Earl Sharples, Lynetta and Tim Goswick all of Ellijay. 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday October 25 at 2pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Coy Richards and Rev. Jerry Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 12 noon until 9pm at the funeral home.
