Mr. Richard Eugene McGuire age 80 of Ellijay, GA died Wednesday May 21, 2014.Mr. McGuire was born July 15, 1933 in Atlanta, GA to the late Nixon and Ola Reece McGuire. He was an US Army Veteran and worked for Gilmer County Courthouse as a maintenance man. He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn and cousin Loudis Barker.

Survivors Include Sister, Deborah Edwards, Palmetto, GA. cousins; Merle Naylor, Judy Smith both of Ellijay, Richard Buckner, KY, and Myrtle Watts, Marietta.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday May 24th at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Naylor officiating.

The family will meet with friends at the funeral home Saturday.
