Breaking News: A finalist is set to be announced in the Superintendent Search.Fetch Your News has learned that the Board of Education will likely present a single finalist in the search for a new Superintendent in the Gilmer County Charter School System during its regular meeting on June 11, 2015.

While the finalist will most likely not be at the meeting, the Board would present the name of this finalist as well as release documents pertaining towards that person. The public then has a minimum of 14 days to review those documents after they are released before the Board can call a meeting to present finalized negotiations with the one chosen finalist to be employed at a set date.
