Mr. Scott W. Ewing age 61 of Ellijay, GA, formerly of Port Charlotte, FL, died Wednesday October 26, 2016.

Mr. Ewing was born March 20, 1955 in Boston, MA to the late Robert L. and Carolyn M. Bielecki Ewing.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Scott was called home to walk with Jesus. A truly loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. His kind heart,giving nature and crazy sense of humor will be missed everyday by those who called him, Husband, Dad, Pop Pop and Friend. He lived his life believing in a handshake, that was your bond. The mountains will miss him riding his motorcycle through them, in awe of their beauty.  He was a member of the Pickens Gun Club and the NRA and served in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Linda G. Ewing, of Ellijay, GA; son, Adam Ewing, of Ellijay, GA; daughter, Chrystal Ewing, of North Port, FL; 2 grandchildren, Raymond and Grace Ewing, both of Ellijay, GA; brothers, Mike Ewing, Brett Ewing and John Ewing; sister, Linda Ewing; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held Sunday October 30 at 3:00pm from the Turniptown Baptist Church Fellowship Hall with Rev. Scott Chastain officiating.

Inurnment will be in the Yukon Cemetery.
