Speaker of the House of Representatives David Ralston and Commissioner of Pre-K Bobby Cagle were in Gilmer County on Friday to read to the children.Both Ralston and Cagle read a “Pete the Cat” story to the Pre-K. The room was full of laughter.

After the readings everyone headed to the gym, where the 1st graders sang a fun song for the visitors to enjoy.

These events were part of the state wide Pre-K Week.

Ralston told FYN,

“Its great to be back in Gilmer County for such a wonderful event.”
