Last night in Commerce the Gilmer Bobcats started this holiday tournament with a win against the host team – the Commerce Tigers.Final score – Bobcats 71 / Tigers 59. Ryan Lowery led the team with 24 points followed by Joe Bob Charles with 15. The assist leaders were Austin White and Joe Bob Charles. The strong performance by the team allowed the coach to rest starters in every period and get what every coach wants – points from the bench. Gilmer tips off at 8:30 tonight in round 2 of the Holiday tournament at Commerce High School.
