Tonight at the Gilmer County BOE meeting Mrs. Linda Waters, Director of Food Services,
announced to the board that 76% of Gilmer county students now receive free or reduced lunches. Waters said that the majority of the 76% received a free lunch. The board acknowledged that there are no surrounding counties anywhere close to that number.
