Klara Andersson of Sweden, who is attending Young Harris College as a part of Rotary’s Georgia Rotary Student Program, GRSP, was our speaker on Monday, April 18, 2013.Klara was accompanied by Phil and Marilyn Cook, trustees for GRSP.
Klara presented us with numerous facts about her native Country. She lives in Gothenburg. 50% of the land in this area is covered by forests along with numerous rivers and lakes. The population of Sweden is approximately 5 Million people, 85% of which live in cities.
