A Message From Commissioner Danny Hall

September 3rd 2013 was a sad and tragic day. I lost a close friend and Gilmer county residents lost a great commissioner that fought for the taxpayers. Randy Bell was a friend before I ran and as we were running against each other we made a deal that if we lost we would keep talking and visiting for friendship and ideas to help run the county. The last 8 months not being able to have our lunches were greatly missed. I want the people to remember Randy Bell as the one that fought for the taxpayers, not for more government. My prayers are for his mother and family. Randy will be missed.
