There will be many samples of the different rocks to examine and “Rockman” will be bringing a geological map of Georgia.
The Friends of the Library Bookshelf
This week the Bookshelf is featuring a wonderful selection of American history with emphasis on Native America heritage. We have books for history buffs of all ages, and even a wooden boxed set of the popular Oregon Trail game.
Remember that the library welcomes donations of gently read books and magazines. Those that the library doesn’t need come to the Bookshelf, with all the proceeds benefiting the library. Don’t forget to visit the “back room” of the Bookshelf for newly stocked non-fiction and magazines.
Bookshelf hours are from 10:30 AM-5:00 PM on weekdays and from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on Saturdays.
