Mrs. Clara A. Tipton, age 75, of Ellijay, died Thursday September 24, 2015.

Mrs. Tipton was born March 15, 1940 in Fannin County the daughter of the late Robert (Doc) Eaton and Pricilla Fox Eaton Weaver. She worked in the manufacturing industry and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Dennis and Junior Franklin “Bud” Eaton.

Survivors include: sons and daughters –in-law; James and Rhonda Tipton, Billy and Selena Tipton, David and Vickie Tipton all of Ellijay, daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Ricky Boring, Ellijay, brothers; Gerald Eaton and Lane Weaver both of Ellijay, sisters; Linda Tipton, Ellijay, Edith Tipton Sisson, Blue Ridge, Retha Stillwater Stone, New Mexico, grandchildren, Mitchell Boring, Josh, James and Russell Tipton, great-grandchild, Brandon Boring.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt funeral Home with Pastor Steve Fields officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Covenant Community Church (OCC) at P.O. Box 455, Ellijay, GA 30540.

The family will meet with friends Saturday from 1 until 2pm at the funeral home.
