CRUSH UPDATE: Crush is safe! A local family took Crush into their home.
They are very concerned as their American Bull does not care much for Crush.
Both dogs being so large, there could be a big issue if they were to get into a physical altercation.
So we are still looking for a foster home that can get Crush thru his heartworm treatment. Funds have been collected so the heartworm treatment is covered.
Thank you staff of GCAS for giving Crush another chance.
Thank you all who shared and prayed for Crush.
Thank you to the family who opened their home and saved Crush.

Crush, a 5 year old American Bull dog at Gilmer County Animal Shelter, was scheduled to be euthanized tonight. The shelter is over full and several dogs at an abandoned house had to be picked up.
I called Daniel at GCAS and talked him into giving me 24 hrs. more to find Crush a home.
Daniel agreed to let Crush be adopted for just $50 including neuter and rabies shot. Crush has heartworms but the money has been donated for his treatment. (So this would be no additional cost to the owner.)
Please spread the word. SAVE CRUSH.
