The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe. Read the book then come watch the movie. And if you didn’t get to read the book no worries. Come join us anyway! Grades 3-6. Kids 9 and under with adult supervision please.
Puppetry Arts
Tuesday, December 15 @ 4:00 PM
A Christmas Story for Jiggs. Join us for a Holiday themed puppet show which is followed by a simple craft. Kids 9 and under with adult supervision please.
Family Storytimes
Wednesday, December 16 @ 4:00 PM
This week’s theme is “Adventure of the Gingerbread Man”. December’s story themes are all about the wonderful winter holidays. All ages welcome. Story time is always followed by a simple craft you can complete with your child.
Nightmare Before Christmas
Thursday, December 17 @ 5:00 PM
What’s this? Come dressed as your favorite character and sing along with Jack, Sally, and the rest of the citizens of Halloween Town as we watch Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Pre-movie activities begin at 5:00 and the movie will begin at 6:00. Kids 9 and under with adult supervision please.
The Friends of the Library Bookshelf
The Bookshelf is a great place to shop for last minute gifts and stocking stuffers with prices that even very young shoppers can afford. Volunteers will be happy to gift wrap your purchases, too!
Take a look at the “last chance” shelves where our inventory of half-priced books is refreshed weekly. You can put your payment for these books in the donations box if the Bookshelf is closed.
Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:00 on weekdays and from noon-2:00 on Saturdays.
