This week’s theme is “Holiday Story Mix” December’s story themes are all about the wonderful winter holidays. All ages welcome. Story time is always followed by a simple craft you can complete with your child.

Teen Coding – Intro to Makey-Makey

A Makey-Makey is a simple invention kit for Beginners or Experts doing art, engineering, and everything in between. Come learn the basics of how to use them.  Each coding meeting will build on the previous, but you can work at your own pace and this will be a special one.  No computer at home? No problem!  Join at any time!  Ages 12 and up.

The Friends of the Library Bookshelf

Whether your New Year’s resolutions include more vegetables, more exercise, or more calm the Bookshelf has books to inspire you.  You’ll find this extensive collection of helpful books on the cart outside the Bookshelf.

Don’t forget to pick up a stash of magazines for road trips, a true bargain at $.25 each.  Magazines are displayed on the rack outside the Bookshelf and in the non-fiction “back room” as well.

Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:00 on weekdays and from noon-2:00 on Saturdays.
